Nankang NS2R Trackday tyre


I've had r1r. Not on a handler though (astra turbo) had decent grip for the first k or two. Even traction in 2nd which was great. Had ad08 on the s2k great tyre as you know. 888's are popular for a reason. Wouldn't let go of the road on my civic!
 
My federal 595 RSR's have split across the front 2 as well from drag racing and 1 track day. I'll probably go with 888's next unless the nankang's turn out to be good!
 
Luke did a test day on them. He actually said he'd prefer to race on the Nankangs over the R888's. The R888's only last 15 mins before going off. The Nankangs were consistent for the entire session and will be much better in the wet/damp.
 
ive bought 4 of these new in the last 2 weeks..

€145 a pair for medium compound
€175 a pair for soft compound

looking forward to trying um out
