Hello all!
I just noticed this section and im sure some of you have been noticing me post lately and frequently and wondering who the hell I am.
My name is Colin and im 24 from the suburbs of Philadelphia in the US. I own a 97 civic DX (base model sohc here) which is under RE-construction. It was originally a single cam, then had a b18c5, then a k20a2, now I am doing a fully built k24 and hopefully hitting 320bhp NA, no turbo or thoopercharger. I also own a 2000 4 door civic LX with a b16b motor swap that is my everyday car and I love it.
I am pretty knowledgable on the k series stuff and have done the swap in and out a couple times with my own car and have done a couple teardowns and am in the process of learning full engine assembly. This is just my hobby, but I love it immensely. I have a great love for Mugen and their parts and am also pretty knowledgable on their products and authenticity.
I'll eventually carry over some stuff from my build from another site onto this one, but for now I am not doing to great on the car due to the US's poor economy right now and me not making too much money. Regardless, expect to see some pics and discussion on my car in the build section sometime soon.
Regardless, I really like this site, a lot of you guys seem to be much more into road racing and such then the drag crap that covers the forums here in the US. I am very much into road racing, F1, and time attacks and once my car is done I will hopefully be competing in some events here in the US. Looking foward to seeing much more on here!
