Hey guys!

I'm Jone from Norway.

been in here since 2008 when my girlfriend had an EJ and needed inspiration

I have always been a huge fan of the EK9 but since its right hand drive its almost impossible to get registered in my country.

But a couple of months ago i actually came over a B16b engine w\S4c gb in my neighborhood, which is quite incredible since Hondas isnt that big over here.

a 700meter drive and 1300£ later it was in my garage and getting ready to go into my 350.000 km CRX i-VT.

this turned out to be a bigger project than i thought since all kits made for the swap is for the american D-series CRX. so im just googling and trying to find out stuff along with my mates.

right now im in the process of buying parts. Maybe you have some tips on some more essential upgrades?

bought and installed:

New header

OEM EK9 N1 Crank Pulley (since i dont have have either power steering or AC)
new gaskets all over
new water pump
Fujitsubo RM-01a exhaust
Tegiwa Radiator

On its way:
Hasport Hydro Axles
Hasport Engine mounts (will need mods to get them to fit)

Need to buy:
some kind of ECU (hondata maybe? )
Clutch master and slave cylinder so i can have hydro clutch

and hopefully i can get to use it at Rudskogen Racetrack the 20th of July this year.

Thanks for looking :)

Hi Jone

I've always Loved a CRX, but in South Africa their quite rare & if you come across 1 in good condition there cost top dollar.

The B16B should make this baby fly, dare I say quicker than a stock EK9:nerv::wow:

Welcome to the forum. Thats a very clean CRX you have, it looks well cared for especially with 350k on the clock. The NSX is sweet aswell.

update so far, still havent completely found out how to get the engine aligned in the right place, hasport mounts makes the engine come way to far forward so there is no way you can get both a radiator and headers there. #noobmechanic :p
