Hi guys. Recently found i have no brake lights when pressing brakes. So I've checked the bulbs for continuity, as well as the fuses and the bulb holders. All come back fine, although I'm not too sure how it works regarding the bulb holders. When I depress the pedal it still has continuity. I have yet to check the switch on the brake pedal( not the easiest of places to get to) How common is it for that switch to become faulty and has it happened to any1 here? Note: when I turn my lights on, the lights work, just the second filament doesn't light up when the pedal is depressed.(It is not blown, beep tested it.) I pulled the plug out of the brake switch on the pedal arm, got a piece of wire and joined the 2 pins inside the plug. Lights still never came on. Then checked voltage and has 12.2V. Beep tested it as well to be ultra sure and it came back fine. So I'm not sure why the lights aren't coming on? I thought by putting a wire in the plug to short it the lights would come on? Bulbs have been beep tested again to make sure. Not too sure what's left to check now?
