yo guys i wanted to know the oem valves of a b18c what limit do they have on RPM ?
 
Its not the valves ud have to worry about its the springs amd retainers in the head. Standard springs and retainers i wouldnt go past 8800. But ive a friend with uprated springs and retainers with oem valves in his track car and it revs to 9500 without any problems
 
yeah i got supertech springs and retainers but oem valves thats what i m asking :))
 
100 rpm lower than the valves got problem too but i would like 9500 about
 
With uprated springs and retainers the oem valves will be good to rev that high im my opinion but i dont really see the point in it unless you are gonna run a very aggressive cam that makes power at those rpms..
 
got already aggresive cams :) i just wanted to know if they got any problems in extra high rev :p
 
Would you not need higher compression to run cams that make power that high?
 
i already got this ~~ guys guys dont go off the topic pls :p the topic is how far the oem valve can go :p
 
Have a search on google and find out what's been done and what hasn't with the stock valve.
Weetabix has already said 9.5k can be done.
