hey all
couldnt find any info on this but i want to fit some new wheels on my ek9 and im not sure if it will the specs are
weds sport tc-005
17x9 +25 all round
with 245/40/17 tyres
any help is appreciated

they will rub if your car is anyway lowered

i can roughly fit 2fingers between the gap from tyre to guard...i dont mind even going back to stock height...was just hoping i didnt have to roll guards or run too much camber..do u think height will be my only problem?

Those wheels are going to be completely wrong mate. A 9" wheel is extremely wide and with an offset of +25 they are going to stick out miles. They may also interfere with the suspension being so wide!

Just to put it into perspective for you I have TE37’s (15x7 ET43) with 195/50/15 tyres and there is not much gap at all between the inside of my tyre and the suspension and the outside of the tyre just site in the arch.

Offset (ET) is the measurement from the centre line of a wheel to the surface which meets the hub. The higher the ET the further into the arch your wheel will sit and the lower an offset the further out a wheel will stick.

17x9 with +25 will stick out loads bud.

You should really be looking at around ET39 > ET43 with a 6.5”/7” rim (Someone correct me if this is inaccurate).

This link will probably explain what I have just said much better.

Alloy wheels, wheels, onformation on wheels, offset, wheel offset, wheel sizes.

Hope this helps.
