Oh god why

Haha yeah if they get their way I suppose.

Guys chill chill! Tyre performance kinda depends a lot on the envrionment they're used. Weather it be dry or wet, surfaces vary so no fighting! haha anyway, I'll be following some advice on here :) Got a few things ordered :D

AD08's are ace, I had them on my MK1 Eunos.

You'll notice a lot of difference with the sidewall stiffness as the tyre won't feel like it's flat as a witches tit when you go around a corner.

Haha
I am a driving god!!
Sounds about right considering I wrecked my last civic!

Rippu. If I'm Hammond must make you captain slow??

Things are heating up (runs and gets popcorn) :) haha driving a car with power is completely different than driving a 1.4 civic.!! Not a dig at u rippu but a 1.4 civic is relatively easy to drive on its limit were as even a vti can be a handful in the wet at times I no I've been there but for bigger engined cars that are fast road/track oriented a simple off the shelf tyre like a toyo t1r or as there called over here the ditch finders are no good. My old dc2 type r had them on it and in the wet it was ridiculous was the 1st thing I changed and I changed to hankook rs2's a semi-slick like the ad08's and they were miles better in the wet than the cheap toyo rubbish guys think aww todos they must be class and in forsale threads they always says brand new t1rs personally I'd never run a cheap off the shelf tyre on a fast car that I was going to drive on as a cheap tyre reaches it's limit very quickly but all personal opinion and experience

Just abit of banter on my side, not trying to start any wars with braveheart lol
Is general consensus that semi slick, due to the name, are **** in the rain. Isn't the case but the OP will find that out soon enough.

Took my AD08's out in the rain yesterday evening, I warmed them up as best I could and drove about 40 miles before doing anything more demanding (tyres came with this polish stuff on them which I know makes em slippery).

Went to the same roundabout, smooth tarmac and wet. They handled well, where I pointed the nose the car just went. No struggle, no hesitation. It just went.

I'd recommend them

Never go above 30 mph, Frodo can vouch for that :D

Haha its just some banter.

The car I drove that had them wasn't mines, it had triple the power so I think I'm informed enough to say my opinion. I agree that T1Rs are **** though, the sidewalls are like jelly.

My point is that on a wet road, AD08s won't get up to temperature unless you're driving like a complete twat. There are better tires for the road that work well in the wet and dry conditions we have.

No general consensus, all personal experience her Hammond. :nice:

100% agree ripoo better tyres out there for a souly road car but he wants to hit the track etc so unless he wants another set of rims and tyres if not the semi slicks are the best option

Why is it whenever anyone crashes there's diesel on the road...

Nothing to do with lack of skill? :secret:

I don't deny I lack experience :) but fortunately I didn't crash. I just slid. I pulled over where it was safe. Walked back to the roundabout where there is a BP on the corner. Told them what happened and they said they had some grit stuff they could put down. Anyway, as for the lack of experience, I'm working on it :) got skid pad, track day and advanced driving course all booked up :nice:

Should be informative and fun

Glad to see you like the ad08's. They really are great tyres, worth the money.
