oooh controversy
I'm in England not Scotland lol
Lol
Next power
You obviously didn't use them properly to say they are poor in the rain lol
And I'm in England not Scotland lol
Rippu. If I'm Hammond must make you captain slow??[/
Things are heating up (runs and gets popcorn) haha driving a car with power is completely different than driving a 1.4 civic.!! Not a dig at u rippu but a 1.4 civic is relatively easy to drive on its limit were as even a vti can be a handful in the wet at times I no I've been there but for bigger engined cars that are fast road/track oriented a simple off the shelf tyre like a toyo t1r or as there called over here the ditch finders are no good. My old dc2 type r had them on it and in the wet it was ridiculous was the 1st thing I changed and I changed to hankook rs2's a semi-slick like the ad08's and they were miles better in the wet than the cheap toyo rubbish guys think aww todos they must be class and in forsale threads they always says brand new t1rs personally I'd never run a cheap off the shelf tyre on a fast car that I was going to drive on as a cheap tyre reaches it's limit very quickly but all personal opinion and experience

Just abit of banter on my side, not trying to start any wars with braveheart lol
Is general consensus that semi slick, due to the name, are **** in the rain. Isn't the case but the OP will find that out soon enough.
Took my AD08's out in the rain yesterday evening, I warmed them up as best I could and drove about 40 miles before doing anything more demanding (tyres came with this polish stuff on them which I know makes em slippery).
Went to the same roundabout, smooth tarmac and wet. They handled well, where I pointed the nose the car just went. No struggle, no hesitation. It just went.
I'd recommend them
Why is it whenever anyone crashes there's diesel on the road...
Nothing to do with lack of skill?
