over cooling


just picked mine up today, part number is 19301-PAA-306, fitting it tomorrow dont know why the part numbers different, i will let you know if its the right one
 
Thats weird the part numbers are different!lol aw well wonder which one is wrong!
 
fitted it today and no problems, can anyone tell me what coolant is recommended? cheers
 
also i remember reading a thread about bleeding the coolant system after refilling it but cant find it lol, dos anyone know were the thread is or got the information for me it would be appreciated cheers andy
 
my system is on verge that it overcools but thats simply due to what ive done as lot more heat generated on my motor because of setup so needed more cooling

ive just used oem plastic covers on pass side and added little more coverage to block more air going to rad so about 2/3 of rad is covered but i could do with blocking grill as well especially during winter
 
Doesn't have to be, dependant on condition it can be saved and re-used. For the sake of a few quid though, unless its only recently been changed I always refill with fresh coolant.
 
Thermostat changed its looking good at th moment. I got new coolant from honda and just changed it anyway. temp gauge goes up to half way and doesnt drop anymore even when I put the blowers on.

no bad just getting the last few bits n bobs organised before it gets mapped, put a 2.5" decat on last week instead of the sports cat and its running loads better now
 
cool, cant wait to see it in action! where did you get the decat pipe from? I've been after one as I still have a sports cat too!
 
my mate does custom exhausts, he made it for me with a 2.5" flange and 2.5" straight pipe as my sports cat was a sleeve fit rather than bolt in fit, if yours is bolt in then find yourself a jdm length decat and itll swap over no bother
