i actually think this is my first post on this forum, but i do know a few guys on here and thought id let you all see whats happening.

To start off ill just say that the car's have got a lot of history see here. http://forum.jdmy0.n...php?f=12&t=3256

(Most of the build of the car is on his topic on jdmy0 if you wish to flick threw it) but I shall try and write an in depth build a lot of what I know and where I have taken over. I bought the car in its current state from which graham had owned for over 2 years. Basically how the car was when I payed for it.

He bought the car from a guy (Tj) after the bottom end started knocking and the shell was mint!! Only one tiny wee bit rust on the passenger side rear arch. Obviously he was only interested in the shell so snapped it up and began to strip it. Graham fully stripped the bali shell.

So the car was completely naked, then at some point along the line Graham bought an SiR as a donor car for the bali -- the SiR was a write off (I think) as it had damage on the front end of the car, but absolutely everything on the SiR was mint and was to be used on the bali.

So the car was then stripped fully. Bought a few things im sure and refitted the B16 engine, . Chassis wise with the car, graham fitted an ITR complete sub frame, Steering rack, ITR gear linkages and shifter. I will eventually get a full spec list up.

The car was then taken to grahams work and had the engine bay painted up, nice fresh Milano red!
And a picture of the bay.

So Graham started getting back on top of this around July time which was when I bought my first eg and had a few problems with it, met martin of off jdmy0 when I took the car down to Honda and he started talking about a guy called graham who may have a few parts for egs that I could buy, went straight to rippus that day from Honda and he started talking about the same guy ended up going along to the unit that night and as soon as i seen the eg i knew i had to have it!! Ha-ha Sooooo Long story short a few meets and discussion past and i am now the proud owner of this awesome car.

I have not done many things to the car as yet, because i have been saving up for the respray although my first purchases were my Nardi steering wheel and Broadway rear view mirror.

What me and Rippu did do is sand down my front and rear bumper's for the car, was pretty fun they are basically done but im gonna leave most of the bodywork to the guy when it goes for its respray just to make sure they are done correctly haha

Also my mrs bought me my headunit for the car its a JVC - KD-R421!
There wont be any updates for a few weeks, basically until the arch has been finished and it’ll be off for its new paint. Here is a picture of how the car is sat just now.

Markp - may I ask why you didn't buy the car?. I knew when I first seen the civic I wanted it. Heard someone was buying it and couldn't have it, I didn't think he would have parted with it. So I'm chuffed everyday!. haha

Micheal - definitely eh!. Nice Milano red instead of Milano pink!. Hahah
Cheers man.

Only reason really being I didn't have cash for the paintjob if I bought the Eg and had just moved in with my bird so would have had it sitting on my parents drive for 6 odd months untill it got painted . Got another eg3 now with a b16 in we should meet up some point have a look at the cars .

Yeah I didn't think I would either but I wanted it so bad, I cut it fine but it'll will finally be on the road this year!!

Yeah that would be cool man, keep an eye on this and I nay be through Glasgow un a month or so, so I'll give you a shout dude.
