Stakis Member Joined Sep 6, 2010 Messages 273 Apr 3, 2014 #21 If these are forged pistons, you can sandblast the top of the piston after smoothening the holes alittle bit (some builders do this to prevent detonation and improve flame travel). Check weight after this on quality scales and you must be fine.
