prefacelift or facelift?


top is the lift and bottom is the pre-lift, not the greatest pics to demo this but ah well you get the idea
 
aaaa ok thanks a lot gav!! The thing is that im trying to buy the front and rear lip from a guy on ebay and asked if im for a pre or facelift and didn't even know the difference ;) So you helped a whole lot!! I'd rather go for the facelift then!! Can i ask you another thing gav?

About the red recaro seats.. I found a set costing around £600 without rails.. do you think its worth it? would my rails fit?

your call mate its your cash after all but i would shop around a bit 1st and don`t just buy the 1st ones that come along you never know there could be a better set out there somewhere for a better price. Good luck with that anywayz, oh and if you get ones without rails strongly advise gettin a set of lowrider ones thing thier the bomb !! but down to personal taste :nice:

Hi there

So between the 2 are running different stock ECU and Spoon are selling two spec ECU for the EK9, but what I don't understand/don't known is the different between them? And if they are the running with the same engine etc...:angry2:

Here are the changes mentioned on the video.
It's not going to be noticably faster but it IS more finely tuned including injection points and various parts, engine didn't gain any more HP. The fastest EK9s are the Race base stripped models.

Good video, can see it keeping up with the S2K but 98spec ITR just wipes the floor. This should confirm to many that the 98spec DC2R is much quicker.
 
hey rynvti_ek4. are you dealing with an outside exporter or are you dealing with a maltese importer? my cousin wanted to import an ek9 himself but ended up having to contact a maltese importer due to registration issues. jin mir-rabat bdw, tkun xej hal far jew?

Theres a Youtube Video where they race the ek9 Facelift and they say
they think it is just a visual change
but it has been tweeked
If I get a ek9 96-98 Im definately getting the BYS front bumper
 
from what i can remember the facelift never had a hand finished engine like the pre , it was done by a machine
there was a slight change to something on the suspension as well
but its ages since i was told about this so dont quote me on that
