preloadon coilovers amke breaking feel stiffer??

well today i put a very little amount of preload on my coilovers when i took it for a drive the brake pedal felt stiffer as if i didnt need to press that hard to stop is this because my suspension is stiffer because of preload??
 
Won't make brakes feel stiffer through the pedal no

Your brakes might feel like they are working more efficient though, more preload = stiffer suspension = less dive = more stable and effective braking
 
hey sorry wanted to ask about this aswel when my suspension is stiffer my clutch feels stiffer too is this good thing.
 
I noticed this when i had my coilovers fitted...the brake feels this way as the car isn't lurching forward on the suspension when you brake, due to the lack of movement in the shocks...it feels wierd for a while, but you get used to it!:))

improves braking and accelerating though...oh and cornering!
