I have a problem with the gearbox in warm weather especially. After driving for about half an hour - 40 minutes the gearbox slips whenever i put it in gear, and only seems to get worse doing so.

The gearbox is that of an ITR 98 spec, with a Exedy oem replacement clutch and spoon flywheel.

The weird thing is i've had this with my S4c as well, specially in warm weather with a LSD motorsports clutch and Spoon Flywheel.

I thought it was the clutch, so when i got the chance replaced that with the gearbox.

The only thing i haven't tried is the OEM flywheel yet.

Can it be that the clutch slips on the flywheel because the flywheel might be too 'slippery' for it to catch grip? I have no idea whether that's possible but my options are running out...

i told my mate who's a mechanic, and he ripped apart my car before, and told me the LSD motorsports clutch basically f*cked my flywheel up so he'll replace it soon. He tried sanding the flywheel up to make the surface more rough but he told me it's like a mirror now (as smooth as it is) so our options are just this one.

you guys think that's the issue here?

GOt your pm about this

What exactly happens when you say the gearbox slips? Does it pop out of gear? or is it the clutch slipping and the revs go up but no increase in speed?

If it is the revs flying up with no increase in speed then will be clutch/flywheel related
