Quick question- Decat without gasket to B-pipe.

Had a quick search couldn't find anything.

Had to recently my decat/cat over for M.O.T. time, unfortunately the gasket connecting to the B-pipe is completely rotten.

Anyone running a decat without this gasket? Any issues? Want to get the decat back on but concerned may cause the exhaust to blow.

Any help would be appreciated guys

Get gasket sealant. What i do is get a gasket and put sealant on it, very low chance of leak. Ebay do gaskets but last time i checked they didnt. Ended up getting in touch with Demon Motorsport and found out a RX7 (3 hole) gasket fits also.

As keith said.

If you have the re-test soon and need a quick asap and cant wait around for a gasket then id just go with the sealent,sandwhiching both exhaust parts together.

Was just about to say the gaskets are pennys from any motor factors!

I didn't use a gasket in mine, just tightened the bolts up so much that no air was getting out

If anyone needs the cat-bpipe gasket we now stock them. They can sometimes be tricky to find.
