quick question for the honda gurus

well i have a 96 hatch with a ls/vtec im getting cel code p0135 and p0141 which are the 2 sensors im running a obd2a gsr ecu but car will not hit vtec
. also i have the codes because car doesnt have any o2 seonsors at all


so my question is my car is not hitting vtec because of these codes correct? or is there something else at fault ?


reason for no jumping to obd1 is i want to pass inspection once a year

but can you pass inspection with codes being thrown?
can you pass inspection with ls/vtec?

If your throwing a code, your ecu will go into limp mode; higher gas consumption as the ecu will run the engine rich which means harder to pass emissions out the back and cat will run hot too.
