Radio not working?

Does anyone have any idea's as to why my radio isn't working?

Its a double din type headunit, and hasnt worked since day 1! I assumed it was something to do with the fact the headunit has come from jap land, does anyone have any ideas or had similar problems?

... and yes I HAVE checked that the ariel goes into the back of the headunit.

i have the same problem no radio for a year and a half

you checked the wiring in the back of the radio? took mine out a couple of months ago and it wasn't even wired in!!! still haven't fixed it lol!!!

No, I didn't know there was a fuse just for the radio? Assumed it would be for the headunit as a 'whole'? Could you please tell me which fuse to check?

Yes I checked the wire was actually plugged in, and it was. Can't see what else it could be... unless I needed some sort of converter?

check the fuse mate,

I had this problem too. The fuse box is inside the drivers glove box. Take the box out and youl see it. Theres a plan*sticker* behind the glove box aswell to show you which fuse is which.

IIRC if the fuse for the radio that is located in the fusebox in the dash, the cigarettelighter doesn't work either. They're both supposed to be wire to the switched 12v fuse. In the Integra workplace manual it says "Cigarette lighter" as the name for the fuse. In my EG my radio went once and that also took out the cigarette lighter. When I replaced one fuse, both worked again.

theres also a fuse for it in the bonnet thats what happened mine
