Rear crankshaft oil seal... best place to get it?

As above guys anyone know where I could get this? Ideally after an oe honda one for b18c1? All the same I would guess tho...
 
Id assume they are the same yes.

I think it will be? Racing XS list the 18c4 and 18c/6 as separate items but with the same part number. I thought @Tegiwa Imports would have it but can't see it listed?

Jap service parts might be a good shout mate. Ideally wanting a genuine one but if honda want insane money then that might be a winner.
 
Same rear crank seal on b16, b18 etc. Go with a Honda genuine seal, it's least likely to leak unlike other OE equivalent seals.
 
My cometic one is pre fitted to a housing...because funnily enough I immediately had to take the car apart and change it. I refitted the original and it doesnt even weep!

I have got a Jap Service parts one too. Its Made by Musashi (Japan) and is the oem brown colour.
 
I swapped out the cometic one I had for a used oe one as well and it didn't leak at all either.

@jesse888 is the only person I know that's had any luck with them.
 
I've used a jap service parts one, I've had it running with no leaks to report but not driven far enough to test properly

When using non genuine seals it's important to lubricate the seal lightly with silicone o ring grease. The oem seals often come with a small bead of grease in the grove of the seal

Small seep from a sump gasket but sump wasn't flat.
Had the crank seal and headgasket in my first build. Outlasted the engine...

Hahahaha nah that was me mate, @JohnTurbo theres a pic of a hedgehog that came into my garage on my build thread, i gave it some pizza and went home. Next day it was gone but there was a massive sh*t in front of my toolbox. So it was named cometic as all I got from them was sh*t too
