Last month i decided to fit my rear fog light properly in to the rear cluster.
I got a civic stop tail bulb holder to replace the bottom sidelight bulb holder.
cut the red and black wires and connect back the same colours with the new bulb holder, i used heat shrink connectors but you could solder.
you will find a green wire this is live feed for the stop light which will become your fog light.
I ran 2 core wire down the drivers side under the panels to an illuminated switch on the lower dash board.
You could use a relayed or just fused live to the fog light from a dipped beam live, but i just used the sidelight live in the rear light as it is already fused.
I soldered the red wire in the 2 core to the sidelight live by splicing in to it.
On the black wire in the 2 core i used insulated bullet terminals for ease of taking out the light unit, and attached it to the green wire on the bulb holder.
On the switch side i put the red wire on the top terminal, the black wire on the bottom terminal and found a spare earth under the dash to illuminate the switch.
The car passed mot like this if any one wondered and looks alot better, hope this helps any one heres some pics.
