Just to save me going out in the rain and unscrewing, does anyone know what the bulb is I need for the numberplate lights?

the bulb is a 501 type bulb. same as your sidelight
get some 501 white led of ebay they look much better then the standard yellow ones.
 
Do you know what the brake light bulbs are for the top lights on the ek9?

not sure the code for it.
but if you asked any motor factory its a 5/21 watt break light bulb.

Its 501 and the white LED looks sweet have a pair myself
