Red Recaros + Red Harnesses pic request

Been offered a set of harnesses cheap, one problem - theyre red!

How drastic will it look? pics please!

Less so than green Takata ones!

I'd have thought red on red would be fine.
 
It's okay getting harness' cheap, so long as they aren't cheap harness'

Make sure they meet safety requirements first. But should look fine.

^^ With this guy.

I use a CG lock, it's fantastic & you can just swap it in & out as you go + it doesn't restrict your upper movement at junctions etc.
 
considering most people go for contrasting harness colours id say not very drastic at all

did u relay need to create a thread for this lol. dosnt take much imagination...
 
Red & green should never be seen (apart from in a RACING CAR!)
 
If your Recaros have faded it will look weird, probably like you have pinkish seats. I'd hate it if my harnesses are a different shade of red compared to the seats, but that's probably just me being picky :))
 
The harnesses are FIA approved until 2019, so they're pretty safe lol. Good harness for a low price. My Recaros aren't faded you cheeky sod ;)

iv always been a fan of the red/green combo. i had black scroth harnesses before the takatas and they wernt as cool
 
I do love Takatas from hours of Best Motoring but I just can't do it with all the scene fags wearing fakes. Annoys me, I wouldn't want to be a part of that.

I've got the red ones so will get a pic up.
 
Yeah I hear that, saw a guy in his "stanced" Mk2 MX5 yesterday with that combo + 'DAPPER' sticker on the windscreen.

Haha yep. If you appreciate something's heritage at least buy original parts not reps.

Parts like that and replica Spoon N1s kinda separate the enthusiasts from the people who just want to be cool

Did he have fake BRIDE seats too? This is a common trend at the mo.
 
Not sure, the "DAPPER" logo was pretty big lol.

Makes my piss boil these people with "LYFESTYLER" and such crap stuck down the side of their windows.

You want to be cool?! Then get a big-ass SPOON banner, then you're gangsta.
 
Ive heard that if you use harnesses it shouldn't be mounted to the floor behind, but higher up?
I dont know how true this is though?
