Hey Guys, I have a new set of front suspension, and on my old suspension there is this Fork, Circled in Red;

How hard would it be to put it on my newer ones?

What has to be done do any of you know?

Thanks guys!:nice:

give the fork a good clean and spray the bolt and fork with some penetrating oil (wd40), let it soak in and then try and undo the bolt. once the bolt is removed you should be able to wiggle the fork loose from the shock absorber. pretty simple task. just make sure not to round off the bolt.

fyi, there may also be a groove or V to line the fork up on your new suspension.

Yes, a good shot of wd40 on the screws for easier removal. Then I put a chisel in the slot and I hit it with a hammer to spread the fork, and normally it should come all alone! :))

Okay! That sounds good, I didn't know it was so simple :p I was looking on the new one and didn't see a thread so I wasn't exactly sure how it came on and off,

But I will try this when I get the Chance!

Thanks guys!

Guys!

It worked so easily! Changed both suspension forks in like 20 minutes,

Great help Thanks guys!

The orange 3in1 stuff is great for seized bolts. Wd40 does help but a real penetrant oil is definitely something worth having in your tool kit.
