Replica ARC winglets (edit)


Anyone fitted the pre face ones yet? Mine don't fit at all. Need to upload pics but the fitment is shocking and the holes won't even go into the bumper i need sky hooks.

Not impressed with mine.

Anyone else?
 
Ian - i dont get this, how do they not fit, i spent days making little adjustments for these to fit! Please upload a picture to show what you mean.
What part does it not fit?
 
Adam it was the nuts bolts and washers what is supplied to fit them, they were taped to the winglets if the were uncoated and taped to the packaging if they were coated

Oh dear I hope the fitment isn't this bad on mine...was planning on getting them on tomorrow/sunday!
 
This is soo strange, i dont get how it doesnt fit, i will fit a pair to mine tomorrow to show how mine are fitted see if that helps in anyway. if not just shoot me a PM and we will sort something out, il post a few pics up asap tomorrow

Anyone already fitted theirs? if so what do they fit like? please post up and pics too if possible
 
I fitted mine today. Mine...being a pre-facelift...had those little dangly down tab bits from the lip which got in the way. An angle-grinder soon sorted that but I fear I may need another set :( hit a badger on the way home from Inverness tonight...will inspect the damage in the morning
 
Hiya boosh mine dont fit that gud either and i no exactly why my mate has a face lift they fit like a dream because the bumper is that shape but the pre face they are more sqaure at the front this is why they aint lining up matey

I have had same issue as ian as i said in previous page my winglets stick out at top end as in his pics fitment is not just an issue for me then on pre facelift? Were these test fitted on a pre aswel as a facelift? As seems like the bumpers an lips are quite a bit different an dont want to be choppin bita off my lip for them to fit really. Any suggestions ?¿?¿?¿?
 
I`m so greatful I had these on the car last night. Hit a badger at some speed and they really limited the damage. Got a snapped front lip and a smashed number plate and the tracking is a little out but considering the speed I hit that ****er at I`m really lucky ha ha cable ties at the ready for tomorrow and a trip to halfords later for a new plate and job done. No damage at all to the winglets :nice: thanks
 
Haha ek9ctr your lucky lol and I know im not guna hack any of the bumper to fit them I did ask if they would fit the preface due to being slightly differant at the front anyways guys im sure it can be sorted
 
So do these fit face-lift perfect? May be intrested in them if anyone one with a pre-facelift aint happy with them :)
 
Mine fit fine, but i have a facelift so maybe the problem is with the pre facelifts?
 
Yea it is all the pre face they wont fit but on the face lift they will fit
 
Sure mate, ill get some photo's tomorrow morning, its pissing with rain at the moment and i can't be arsed going outside.
 
I honestly dont get this! I test fitted the template one to a pre facelift and a facelift and they fit fine. So unless something is different after them being made im unsure! But in saying that ek9ctr fitted his with no problem and he has a pre facelift ???? Can anyone whos got them fitted post pictures please so i can see,

Im really sorry that its causing this much hassle to some of you guys, i will try and get this sorted as soon as i see pictures of the others that have them fitted.

Also team emporer i have one set still left in black if your interested?

Please post pictures guys so i can try and help the other few who are having problems

I think ek9ctr took a angle grinder to his to make it fit a pre-facelift. Might be intrested in the spare set you have if Ian doesnt sell me his:nice:
