Replica ARC winglets (edit)


Yes he did he cut away under the bumber to make them fit but u aint doing that to mine

Boosh remember them pics wot got put up wen I asked if they wud fit due to being differant under the pre well it has a little to do with that plus the front bumper on a pre is more square they aint as round on the front il take some pics later if no1 else puts any on for ya mate
 
i held them up to my prefacelift with SiR lip and this is how it looked


(only took 2 secs so dont laugh)

the problem i found is to make it fit okish the wing doesnt sit evenly against the bumper (see picture)

and if you want the curve of the thing to be hidden the wing sits flush with the bumper and looks kinda silly

it is frustrating as this product has the looks of a real good quality piece

Mine sits exactly the same as this booosh. It sits out on one side a large amount when other side is flush an the hole by winglet cannot be used as can be seen in the pics only the inside holes further away from winglet can be used an the other drill holes can be seen :( can you please advise if a different set will be made for pre facelift? As i am not cuttin bits of my lip to fit them thanks
 
thats what my diagram basically shows, i could sit them a bit flusher but perhaps its because i have a sir lip? but still it wouldnt look right i dont think :(

such a shame aswell
 
Yeah I took an angle grinder to the tab things under my lip that Adam was on about. They kinda fit ok then but I'm not too bothered as I quite like them the way they are (and they've already saved me my bumper ;) ) lol

I'll get some pics up tomorrow :nice:

Sorry about the late reply.

I really dont know what to say except that im truely sorry that these dont fit the pre facelift! I test fitted the template and test fitted again but obviously something has gone wrong within the making process!

How do the facelift ones fit? Good or still dodgy?

If anyone wants to return theirs and get a refund please pm me.

I dont know what else to suggest. But what i will do is go to the place where i had them made and ask them for the templaye back so i can compare it to the final product, and if its different i will get tjem to make some more to the exact same spec!

Sorry again guys, i really cant believe this, didnt expect it at all!

I feel like a complete let down and it shouldnt be that way

Ive just lined mine up, on prefacelift and it looks amazing, perfect fit, im going to rivet mine to the bumper, i cant wait to get the stickes its going to look awesome, thankyou for such an awesome item:win:

I bought ians of him so will fit ASAP to facelift and do pics for you boosh I hope they are okay on facelift :) Also could u add me to list for some arc decals please
 
I've crash tested these already and they stood up pretty well...to what I can only call a speeding obese badger :lol:
 
I didnt get time to fit these to mine over the weekend but should be able to thursday morning so i will. And will get pictures too
