Is it better to get some Skunk2 high C/R valves over getting your oem valves reworked for race applications!
If your trying to raise compression you should get new pistons, thats the "right way".
I'm pretty sure i read it right, you want high CR valves or asking if reworking OEM valves is better. What other reason would you do this but to raise compression? I am suggesting high CR pistons as an alternative as high CR valves will add weight to the valvetrain and reduce your ability to rev high safely and will also increase parasitic losses...[/QUOTE]
Please don't take anything personal!
He never took it personal? He only explained why high CR valves are not a very good option.

Or is there something I'm not understanding?

Get the Skunk valves, make sure to upgrade the springs and retainers.
What about what was said by blinx? I had thought to myself that the Skunk2 high compression valves are better for higher revs than the oem valves and that they would be stronger as well!
