need to know which wire is the rpm signal on the ecu of a facelift ek9 model
thanks
thanks
There is a RPM signal wire in the engine bay, on the drivers side, it is light Blue, and it has a connector. you just need to tap into that.
obd2 hondas dont have a rpm signal into the ECU
only into the dials so tap into that
but there is also one coming from the large square plug beside the dizzy, i was told it was light blue but there is two that colour
i was trying to wire a bee*R into a friends OBD2A civic and i just gave up
couldnt get the thing to work and tried every possible combination
so did u fitted the bee*r at the end? i have that and the apexi to fix
nope he jst sold it and got a VAFC2 instead
what apexi product you fitting?
VAFC2......thats a shame on the bee*r but can that be done? if the rpm sigal wire is behind the dah, where do i start?
he wasnt too pushed to get it working and he made money on it
i would rather get a boomslang harness so you can just connect it up
rather than hashing and cutting the loom
I think you can get a rpm signal from ICM pin of engine wiring harness going into ecu. For your case been obd2b it should be connector B pin13.
Have a look here for pinout diagram
.:FFS TechNet : OBD2b ECU Connector Schematics :.
thats great, but can someone else comfirm this aswell? no offence but dont wanna **** up something else
Would be best to double check as not 100% sure... ill try confirm it also.
oh sorry
that is not RPM signal though
when searching for a way to wire the BeeR we took the aformentioned pin as the ignition wire
but we still couldnt find the RPM
