s80 gearbox problem

am looking for a bit of help with problem gearbox, i got a s80 off a friend and had to change main spigget shaft bearing as it was whining, replaced all the bearings and put the box back together, problem is the mechanic was a cowboy, the spigget shaft wont turn and the cowboy mechanic is saying that it is grabbing two gears at once, and ideas please,
 
My advice - give it to someone who knows what they are doing and it will save you a whole lot of money in the long run

ireland, and i know who you are going to say, darren quill, it,s been sitting in his garage for the past ten days, clutch is ****ed, so i cant hardly get around, the chap is busy so i understand that,
 
Without seeing it impossible to say but sounds like its not been put back together right.
 
do you know much about these s80,s is it hard to strip down and put back together, i would have a go at it myself but i dont want to **** it up....
 
get hayes honda manual and have a go urself that what me and mate are going to do with mine altho mine isnt my daily
 
there are spacers to go between the counter shaft below the final drive teeth where it goes into the bearing. Perhaps he forgot about them. 2nd and 3rd are very close to each other and thats where it could lock. Also he might have fu...d up the selector mechanism...

gearbox problem sorted, full strip down, box cleaned and all problems sorted in two and a half hours,, answer, tuning factory.. savage work,,
