thinking of upgrading to an s80 box.

s80 box 4.7 final drive with spoon diff
s80 n3e 98 spec box with spoon 1.5 way lsd

any differende between these? and what is a spoon diff lie on daily use?

The 98 spec S80 came with the 4.7 final drive

i know that just a copy and paste job. just interested in knowing what the diff is like on a daily basis

Ah right...my bad lol I can't comment on the diff as I've never used one for a daily. Sorry

The spoon 1,5 way plated diff is a bit hardcore for daily driving tbh, plus the plates will wear more as a result. Very clunky @ low speeds on corners might I add :p

Edit: 98 spec S80 is a great upgrade from the S4c due to shorter gears, can defo feel the difference, works well with the my engine all the way to 135.

Superb diff, all I can say mate. Hmm clutch It shouldnt do mate, it'll just do your head in cause it's really jerky - dependant on what oil you use of course.
