I live in Dublin mountains, might have a look around this week and see if there is anywhere. If not I'll have a look around Wicklow. :nice:

Drive up ya lazy fecker...:clap: Ah no I'm sure something will be sorted out for during the summer.

As for the location, I went for a lengthy drive around Dublin mountains yesterday (very enjoyable in the EK9!!), but I couldnt find anywhere suitable for a meet.

So this brings me back to square one, personally I thought the previous locations were great and suited us to the ground so I'm half thinking of doing the same as last time with a little bit better time management so we get the sun for most of it and a bit of night for some cool photos.

Let me know what everyone thinks because as I said before I want as much feedback from all you guys as possible so this can be a success. :nice:
 
Im up north so as long as its not too far south Im up for anywhere.

Is there any big country parks? Get a few disposable bbq's in if the weather is good maybe? Then when the light closes in an indoor/undercover carpark somewhere, they are always good for a photo or two.

Alternatively feel free to hold it up here ....... somewhere near belfast would be handy lol :nice:

Thats sort of mid Ireland isnt it?

Did you find any parks or anything or just throwing a general location into the hat to see what everyone reckons?
 
Weather permitting Im happy enough to go to most places so long as its not too far south and I can follow people there and back …. Im cr@p at directions !!!

Definately get a few bbq's on the go if its a good day though.
 
Theres a huge Lough Key forest park just outside Carrick-on-Shannon with BBQ facilities and a huge carpark. :D
 
I know its a week or two later,
there is a time attack event in mondello 19th april
its a stand alone event so it will also incorporate a open track day too

soyou can get track pics if ya wana and see racing all in one day?:nice:

Yeah I used to live up the road from it, been there loads of times when I was younger. Its a great spot. I emailed them asking about the carpark etc...

I think this will be the location so, should organise convoys from each of the provinces and all meet up in Carrick-on-Shannon. :nice:

I think we should go ahead with the meet and then whoever wants to go to the time attack can arrange to meet etc. Im going to try my best to make it.
 
rosscomman suits me grand and its closer to home so ill defo be there but ill have to try and get a convoy from galway
thanks for organising it man fair play
and hopefully we will have all the colours too ill bring a yellow one any way
