Very nice, you'll enjoy it! The main thing I find is the cost of tuning parts is a lot more than honda parts. With that said... P1's are awesome.

yeah im not looking forward to the running cost and tuning prices ha. But loved them for a while now.

just want something different from the honda scene for a while

can't wait :D

How much for the rad? Half size? Pm me please

I found the opposite to be honest. The second hand Impreza performance parts market is so huge that the prices of bits are pretty competitive. Things like exhausts and intercoolers etc come up for sale all the time at good prices on scoobynet........and unlike Hondas bolt on bits actually increase power :D. If you're looking at a P1 you MUST get one that has been A) rebuilt and B) remapped by a reputable company. Standard bottom ends are a ticking time bomb and the stock map isn't the best. ANY modifications need a remap to keep the fueling safe or it will be knock knock time. I learned a lot from STI Type R ownership which is essentially a P1 with a better spec.

yeah i've heard horror storys about needing a rebuild at 60,000 miles. but i think mine will be pretty standard for a while apart from map and decat eventually. just keep up a regular service every 7000k minimum and i SHOULD be fine ha

Honestly, try and get one that's allready been rebuilt and mapped. Even the standard map by pro drive was substandard, they didn't adapt the JDM STI map correctly for UK fuel. Certain things in the car world are massively over exaggerated......impreza bottom end failures however are not one of them!
