Shaving ek9/dc2 calipers

Any one have any pictures of how they had to shave their 282 ITR/CTR etc. front calipers to fit over standard VTI fans or other similar 15" alloys?

Could you not fit small spacers?

Do you mean hubspacers to keep the caliper off the back of the blades? I quite like the standard offset but I'm sure i could live with 5mm!

On my last eg the calipers were shaved and i had to run 5mm spacers

I managed to squeeze 300mm ep3 brakes behind 15" rota circuit 8s, et38 with no spacers. Used a grinder to shave the calipers down and milled 2mm off the mounting point on the calipers.

Here's my previous setup!

Ep3 300mm behind oem Jordan wheels had them behind ek9 wheels also!



Just shave the caliper bit my bit to give yourself enough Clarence! just be careful not to take too much off the carriers and exposing the slide pins!
