Silver facelift ep3, 93k (will rise as my only daily driver), engine is very strong and gearbox smooth, test drive welcome but insurance proof required.

Ive had car for over a year now and never had any issue bar wear and tear (see below for work ive done)

basically offered car by mate i cant refuse so taking it regardless whether i sell this or not

based in manchester

done following since ive owned it, car came with basic history and i had hpi'd

(had HID's already fitted - 6000k)

brand new oem clutch (done about 5k)
new oem platinum spark plugs
oem honda oil filter
motul engine oil
honda mtf 3 gearbox oil put in
new pollen filter
4 new discs (less than1k on these)
ds2500 front pads
new front lower ball joints (less than 1k on them)
front hubs replaced
all 4 calipers replaced couple months ago
autoleads facia
pioneer stereo
oem tweeter pods
jbl tweeters/front speakers/crossovers in doors, wired to take sub as
driver mirror and side skirt replaced
wheels balanced every 6 months since ive had it
3 tyres replaced so planety tread on call

car will come with the private plate R99 TYP

bad points - yes the car seems cheap and reason is that its a cat d, i bought it as cat d as planned on just tidying up and running for couple years and selling on, its had front ender so from distance looks real nice but up close can see had bump hence why id prefer people to view, mechanically its brilliant, only thing it needs is rear engine mount replacing, could have covered this up with inserts but would rather not and be honest. no dents but bodywork isnt mint as reflected in price but again you only start to notice this when up close and checking car

if someone wants to buy private plate make me offer, transfer fee is £80 i think which youd have to pay as well + cost of plate

i wont accept or respond to silly offers on car and if doesnt sell within couple weeks am going to just break and sell for parts (i can have the car stipped bare within 1 weekend so no issue for me as also have own place to do this)

post here, pm me or call on 07792446143, leave voicemail or text me if dont answer as cant in work

would also do straight part x for an ek9 as long as engine good and panels straight (wouldnt be bothered about rust on arches/quarters/roof)

very true, but when you compare stock ek9 and s2000, the s2000 is the faster car, its all down to the jdm kudos you get when you own a ek9 with its supposedly rarity which in my opinion isnt rare at all, a quick search easily shows up plenty for sale.

when you sum it all up and compare the two cars, they are both great cars and do what they were built to do very well, but i just dont get why the ek9 would command more money than a s2000 when the s2000 is the superior car imo

even the integra dc2 is the superior car and those go for 3k!

me personally thinks its all down to the jdm points and the ek9 scores stupidly high!

just a random chance was after not reflection of value of ek9 or my car, taking offers on mine as ideally want to sell weekend or breaking it if not sold

reduced to 2500 ovno for quick sale, if not gone by sun night just breaking it

lol they aint worth much more imo

Hence you don't own one :)
You'll get a rotten, oil burning dog of a 9 for a tad over £3k.
Nice ones still command £5k all day long. :)
They are worth it, buyers dictate what they are worth and they sell.

I paid £3200 for my ek9 less than a year ago. It was in good condition, interior was the cleanest I had seen on any ek9, seats looked new. I sold it for £3900 on ebay auction after it had been on sale for a whole month for £4500 when the next cheapest one on open market (not on forums) was £5k.
