now im at university now studying automotive engineering and motorsport :)
i still work there partime so if anybody needs car glass im your guy

Yeah rvm. I'm in the US. I get paid $6 an hour. Usually I work about 22-25 hours week and get paid every Friday. I depends on where you work though and your position. Our manager gets paid Salary instead of Hourly so he gets paid the same no matter what. Both my parents get paid Salary at their jobs and get paid once a month just like you. That is unless they work overtime, then they get extra but otherwise they are paid the same usually.

In my country you get paid for the "month" work, not for the hours! I always do extra hours and no $$$$$$

Me too:angry: hard trying to budget for a month. nice feeling at the end of the month tho:D

i work for a car rental company so drive some **** and some more **** and then i do get to drive some tidy stuff and it aint my fuel lol

I'm a chef by traded but retrained cos the hours an pay sucked!!! Now I work for a steel making firm in the north of england. The machine we monitor converts liquid steel to solid in massive slabs like 9 meturs long by 30 cm thick an 2 meturs wide. :nono:
If n e ones short of n e steel i can sort u out, as long as u got a hefftey truck to take it away.:D

Im training to be a commercial pilot its costing me a small fortune but i love it so much!!!!!

I always wanted to deal with computers so I was thinking to get involved with Computer Engineering but then I wanted to be more creative so i've been studying Computer Science for 4 years now. I'm almost finished for the Bachelor's Degree but need to sort out Artificial Intelligence first which is killing me!
I like programming very much but sometimes is :angry2:

I've almost completed the famous game "Tic Tac Toe" (without googling for source code lol) but it will be finished only when i include A.I in the program in order to play against the CPU. Now the game can be played only between Player 1 and Player 2 both controllable by me :p

It is such a great feeling working on a game and getting "paid" for your hard effort months later :naughty:

I`m a body man and car painter. i also have a diploma as a pc technician, and a degree in heating, cooling and ventilation engineering.. I ended up in this line of work, after completing my military service, just to make some money untill i got a "real" job. Finally i fell in love with it, and cars in generally.

I was a Project Manager in Web Marketing until Jan this year when I took voluntary redundancy, been chilling, visiting friends abroad and am currently in St Vincent and the Grenadines having got married here on Friday :)

Not looking forward to going back to work lol, will prefer web design to project management though!

Cheers,
Alex

Went to uni and done Mechatronic Engineering, Finished in 2006. Set up my own company. Im a Design Engineer, I did work last year for a huge Oil & Gas company in Aberdeen. This year iv been doing work for another huge company in Glasgow, designing things for the MOD.

I work at a pizza place, making and delivering pizza's for almost 4 years now. It's a pretty good job.

However, this summer I plan on also working at a local Honda dealership, I have a meeting there tomorrow.

I work for a magazine, managing sales staff and advertising...It's a european government mag, so I do get to travel all over europe...

As a little side line, I get to drive some pretty hot new motors...The editor here reviews cars for his own mag, and on occassion gets me a car for a week or two...

They always arrive with a full tank of juice, and it's all fully comp, so I get to enjoy it...This year i've had; Alfa Romeo 3.2 Spider, Nissan 350z Convertable and the new BMW 320d...

And today, sitting outside is the brand new Cayman S...Got her for the week!

Cheers

I've had many jobs. British Army after doing my MeEng. bachelors. Don't ask me why.:angry2: Writer journalist for a car mag. Logistics Manager of a Car Importer now English Teacher in Japan. :nice:

Thats a lot of industry changes I know. I like my current job because I don't actually have to do that much work for a pretty decent salary. The holidays are the best thing. I get to meet and talk to cute and fit Japanese birds. (thats how I got together with my current girlfriend ):win:
