Just thought of this. I also make catering deliveries for the place I work at. Though not required, it still pisses me off when the customer doesn't tip me (which is the case 75% of the time) particularly today. I busted my ass to set **** up and I get nothin. First off, we have insulated carriers with little creeper like things to roll them on. Usually that's what makes deliveries less of a PITA. Well, today I had to deliver to a place I couldn't use the roller things. I had to go up a **** ton of steps. SO I had to take everything out of the carriers in the truck and carry it all up bit by bit. I had to make about 6 or 7 trips to get all that crap in AND I set everything up. A tip? Nope. F you. Next delivery, not so bad. Elevators to get to there but had to walk a long ass way from the truck to get to them. 3 trips (shoulda been 2 but stupidity attack and left the receipt in the truck) and set everything up. Tip? No. F you.

ONCE, I made a delivery to this RICH as hell guy's house. Drove the truck through his HUGE yard to these tables he had setup about a 1/4 mile down a hill from his house. Parked the truck the next to them and set stuff up. Easy. Called manager and handed cell to the customer to give the manager his Credit card number. After that, pops his wallet open and hands me $40......... I nearly dropped a brick in my under shorts. Some people don't even have the decency to tip when I bust my ass but on an EASY as hell setup, I get $40. Go figure. I was even late cause I got lost (he lived on an unmarked road).

Sorry had to get my rant out. It seems like ones I or my manager bust our asses on, we get nothing, but easy ones lands us at least a little something. At least it was a company vehicle I wasn't paying gas for.

jokeshopbeard:the money isnt really whats attracting me (if i put my arse in gear can make more doing what i do now) , its the 2 weeks on 2 weeks off lifestyle that is, but then again thats also putting me off, a lot of thinking to do....
