Some advice needed

Ok so im at a bit of a crossroads here an dont know which way to go

Have a good bit of money saved up and am looking into buying a 9 soon enough but cant decide which type to go for, The facelift... or the Pre-Facelift.

I love the look of both models and have seen some very nice pics of both on here.

My overall plan will be to go for the Spoon look, Carbon bonnet,mirrors,black slips, spoon stickers etc... because i just cant stop looking at the spoon ek9's on youtube and i know ill turn into a spoon whore and try get my hans on as man spoon mods as possible over time.


I was thinking of trying to keep up with the years and go for a 99/00 model but then i keep looking at pics of the Pre-Facelift and fall back on that. I love the look of both and evrytime i see one i make up my mind with that model and then illl see another and be like ok now i fancy that one instead.

I know its kind of stupid but its wrecking my head. Was just wondering has this happened to anyone else and how did you end up choosing?

Has anyone owned both and prefares one from the other?

I plan to keep my 9 for a long time as its a dream car and i eventually would like to track her but dnt want to be thinkning a couple of months down the road and regretting my deision of one over the other.

So any help would be appreciated.

Since you like the look of both, I would say if your going to spend money buy wheels etc just get a pre-face lift as they are cheaper then spend your money on mods.

If you don't like it, you could always sell your pre-face lift and purchase a facelift and put all the mods back on.

Yeh i could do it that way but might have hassle trying to sell it again as nobody is really buying anything at the moment yano

Ah sure im still thinking of what to do hopefully ill spot one that ill know is the right one for me.

had both, originally had a pre-lift now the facelift, it is a tough one some pics i see of the pre-lifts do make me miss my old one a bit but the facelifts do look a bit more up to date imo.

prefer the interior of the facelift, not that much difference to be honest but few of the switches etc look more up to date and as for the exterior its still 50/50 some pics the pre looks better and some the facelift its a hard call, good luck

Yeh i no what you mean. The interior is nicer in the facelift imo but i dont really mind. I was thinking if i went for a pre id just get a red stitched gear gaitor and rx pedals ha job half done. Thanks man

Yeh fingers crossed mate. Im trying to sell an si ferio, have enough savd up for a nice 9 i might have my eye on at the minute and then when i sell that ill make the money back hopefully and can start modding it.

yeh some chap just wasted my time last week wrecked my head big time ha
rings me up saying he will be coming into a bit of money the next day and wants to know can he take it off me the next night, i said yeh no problem settled at a good price, spent the next day washing and cleaning her one last time to give her a good send off as you do haha had it looking sexy new air freshner the lot haha
waiting for a call the nxt day, and the day after that and nothing...
some people i swear just do it because they have nothing better to do with themselves

get a prefacelift and if you wana change parts to the facelift just sell your old ones as they always wanted by people with vtis ej's ect and then buy th facelift stuff thats what id do hope this helps

Yeh i think thats what im going to do to be honest.

Just waiting now until one pops up that i like with some of the parts already on that im going to end up buying anyway, less work and money to be spent then
