Some complete **** took a screwdriver to my locks

Went out to my 9 this morning to find someone had tried to steal/get into it. I'm raging. Damaged my locks and scratched some of my paint. They never got in and my alarm never went off. Although if they had got in, there was nothing valuable inside and my immobiliser is a pain in the arse most of the time. So they wouldn't have been going anywhere. I went down to the police station and they are keen to come and try and get fingerprints off the car tomorrow because apparently its has been a major problem recently, around where I stay. Although its very unlikely that they will find anything.

Will also need some advice on getting the locks sorted. I assume I will need new locks and handles? Is that all? Anyone that is selling any or knows where to get them please drop me a pm? Also might need some painting and a scratch seen to....Any of the Glasgow people recommend anyone good with paint/bodywork.

yeah mate you will need new locks and handles. easy changed just take off door cards.You can just change locks but your handles look feeked to
 
If you change the locks don't you need to change the ignition barrel aswel?
Glad there was only minor damage done and nothing to big.

Oh I A bodyshop is about one of best in glasgow.
Not the cheapest but cheap painter isn't a good painter.
His work is outstanding.
He's bodyshop is in performanceTek garage.
 
that is crap martin man , this really pisses me off any idea who is doing it ? you should fly livy an email and ask if she has any handles available .

If you have remote locking could you not just de lock the handels?

Im just curious how good is your alarm ?
I mean for how it looks it seems to me that they put a lot of force to the lock that should've been enough for the alarm to go on.
 
Bastards, this really pi$$es me off. I would probably end up in jail if I caught someone trying to break into my car, I would break their arms if I could. Hope you'll get it sorted soon!
 
this makes me sick, i had a redtop corsa a few years back that sum cocksucker broke into but he didn`t just break my locks.. oh no the **** smashed my window when he couldn`t get in. took a cd player that was ****ed and a amp that hadn`t worked for months lol, anyway mate really sorry to see this and i hope they catch this tosser and do what they do in arabia if your caught stealing... cut their hands off!!! :nice:
