hey im just about to buy an ek9 from dunx :drive:, just wondering if anyone knows whats best for it, either a spoon or a mugen exaugst? let me know plz and roughly the prices, oh and were to get one lol, cheers andy :nice:

depends what you want really and what you can live with!

Spoon do the street and N1 exhaust, Street is lighter than standard and will flow a bit better and gives a slightly sportier sound. N1 is even lighter than the street and flows even better but is hella loud!

Mugen is roughly on par with the spoon street but is quite a heavy system apparantly, gives off a good note!

all comes down to how much you have to spend and also loud exhausts aren't for everyone :)

spoon=loud
mugen=quiet

i would decide based on that and looks. i prefer the mugen for its close to stock look and sound.

i'll have to get a soundclip up of a Spoon N1 + Spoon b-pipe in a couple of weeks once i fit it, sure that + my Fujitsubo header will give me a headache :lol:

well im not looking for it to be loud, just to giv it a good note when i hit vtech, what sort of prices are they to buy?

spoon n1 spoon n1 lol. i luv these exhausts they sound awsume 2 of my mates have them and you really do notice the performance gains and they look good to

Had the spoon n1 for all of my cars and it produces a very nice tone. Not hard to live with imo. Recently changed mine to due to wanting something different. none the less, the spoon gets the thumbs up from me over the mugen

I had the mugen one, but if you like a little a loud exhaust go for spoon n1 :)

Moving thread to correct forum :D
