Steering wheel advise.

evening lads. Im after some advise on steering wheels for my em1. Basically i hate the standard em1/ek wheel so im after changing it. i want to stay oem so what im after is what honda steering wheels will fit. Ive done some digging and found the ek9,dc5 and ep3 wheels all fit but these tend to fetch pretty good money. Is there any other wheels that might fit? ive seen a few wheels that look nice i.e ep2,prelude and even the hrv wheel with the blue centre looks ok.
any advise appriciated! as the current four spoke bad boy knocks me sick lol.
 
I really like the S2K wheel. Bought my hatchback with it installed already.

S2000 didnt even cross my mind! I take it preface and facelift will fit? Just checked ebay. Not badly priced tbh.
 
ap1 steering wheel would be cool, little bit smaller than the ek4 wheel and it looks so much more modern.
 
Cheers lads!! Cant believe i never even thought about an s2000 wheel. I think either a ap1 or a ap2 wheel would be a 100% improvement on the original one. What do you guys reckon to an ep2 wheel?? Similar looking to a ep3 but without the red centre which i want to steer clear from as I'm not keen on the red 'H' as its obviously not a type r. Basically just want to make it abit more modern looking but retaining an oem look.
 
I like the s2k wheel, good prep for actually owning the rest of what the wheel came from.
 
yea, would just be a matter of getting one without the buttons on the wheel as i dont think they can be made to work on the ek.
 
Does anyone know's if UKDM EP3/AP1 are single stage airbags, Also whether the airbags will actually work as different threads end with different answers?

x2. one of the main reasons i want to stay oem is i want to the retain the air bag and wouldnt mind it working in a crash :nice:

pretty sure the ap1 steering wheel is only a single stage airbag as it is plug and play with the ek.

Yep heard that as well. Also the 2004-2005 AP2 wheels are also single stage according to Honda-tech, Still not sure on the UKDM ep3 wheels.
