Steering wheel Quick Release....

who among u guys have these? can you guys tell me the pros and cons of this thing?....especially people live in Canada or US...coz im planning to buy one, for security and performance...

same reason as u, got it for security purposes..
i used to have a proton satria GTI, it got stolen within a week.
kinda phobia with my nxt car..

i tink u jst need to add the grease every once awhile since we always take it in n out

I'm using one too.

There are two "wings" you pull or a entire ring and depending on the type of QR, it uses splines (which I do not recommend due to looseness/play in the system) or bearings which is the preferred type....the latter being more expensive.

mine is neither of those, however there is some play i still love mine though, there discontinued so not too many people have them.

say u got pullover by a cop, do they give u a ticket for not having an airbag?...can i just say its for security? and one more thing....do you still have the horn when u have this?

i dont think i would get a ticket, i never had a problem, i have no horn though

Ticket is dependent on your country/state/province laws.

Most cops don't care.

The horn you can definitely get it to work.

The only system I've used with no play/wobble is the worksbell systems but they are the most expensive in the market.. still, you get what you pay for..

Hi Guys,

I'm looking into getting a quick release boss, but have a couple of questions...

How do you get rid of the airbag without setting off any warning lights? Also if the drivers airbag is removed does that deactivate the passenger airbag too?
