im looking to b18c my ek9 but ive been told that stroking my b16 will just be the same. so what the better option, stroking my b16 or swapping my b16 for b18?

I say stroke it. You'll get more power from it then from stock b18c and you never know what you'll get when you are buying used engine...

Erm...B16b with stroker kit = B16b with B18c crank, rods and pistons = B18c engine. Why should a stroker kit make more power than a B18C if the stroker kit makes a B18C out of the B16B?

Depends on which stroker kit. Haven't realized he tought about "stock" one... My bad... Even with "stock" one you can keep b16b pistons and gain little power.
Anyway, I would go with stroker kit.

you can get spoon stroker kits, little bit more power and you can say i got spoon internals =) sweet !!! good for spoon whores and jdm yo !!!

There are some nice stroker kits from Crower. Spoon is basically like stock. JUN is also a good one.
