strut braces...

Solid strut braces are better than hinged ones

PasswordJDM 3 point upper front made a world of difference

and a rear upper strut also helps.

ive got password 3 point and cusco lower tie bars and can say they made alot difference, if it was me id hols out for the tegwia 3 point excellent price and the bits they've got so far look to be great quality :)

I have the front and rear spoon struts that connect to the suspension mounts..I would love a password jdm one for the front..Struts for the suspension mounts are so much better than the red oem one

That was I had on the old DC2 (Spoon fount and rear), make a big different on turn in, but the Password is mean business :nerv:

they look like crap and i'd safely say they are as stronger as tin foil! avoid ebay branded parts. :nono: If you want cheap struts go second hand or even tegiwa does good ones at a reasonable price.

iirc top strut braces for eg, ek and dc2 are all the same. excluding 3pt ones though.

No, your EJ9 won't have the studs required to use an EK9 brace..

So unless you fancy drilling holes in your suspension turrets to bolt the brace to, I'd suggest getting an aftermarket brace that connects to the to shock bolts!

oh, didn't think it would fit, but everyone says different things! Do you know anybody that does cheap strut braces, not ebay **** though?

i thought that the ones that attach to the top of the shocks would be the fine? granted standard vti/ek9/dc2 ones wont fit as the ej's are probably lacking the bolts ontop of the strut towers for these.

The cheapest I'd recommend would probably be the Tegiwa 3 point at £120.. I've got one of those on my shopping list.. But different people have different perceptions of "cheap"

How much roughly do are you willing to spend?

Was looking at the Tegiwa brace, but I was looking to spend about £50-£70, so on the look out for good quality new ones that won't break my wallet or a second hand one (don't mind if its not in good condition i.e rust etc.)

ive got ultra racing 3 point tripod that will fit, brand new but couple small scuffs from storage

£90 + postage
