Sunroof bung!

im sure if you take your time with rivets it wont look too bad mate, you could always have it welded in and then paint the roof and it will look as if it never had one :) @LoganK has one on his think his is a buddyclub one although his looks fine and has repelled the water very well :) give him a pm im sure he can point you in the right direction

Mr Buddyclub on here sells them but you have to rivet them. Mine was tigersealed then rivets and it has been like this for a good 6 month or so. No leaks and all fine :nice:

Cheers guys just had a skeet through both build threads, some real nice builds going on I need to catch up on.

Seems like the one Steve M used looks perfect for what I am after. Just need to confirm if its a Fiberworx one. Im sure the riveted one does the job fine I would be happy with it if it was my long term car. Its just I have bought an EK4 to fix up and possibly keep as a mainly fast road but capable track car. But know I may sell and can just hear the comments already if it has a riveted plate instead of sunroof or flush bung. Used fast Honda market on the Island is very poor, extremely hard to keep value.

No worries man.

Steve's one is really discrete too, can barely tell its there. I would go for that if it was my car personally!

Yeah it's the Fiberworx one I've got. Fitment etc is good and it looks much tidier than the Buddyclub rivet on ones! I've got an issue just now with the paint covering the sealer cracking, but my mate (Frodo on here) had a Fiberworx bung on his crx and his is still fine 2 and a half years later, so think it's been a mistake by the Bodyshop that's caused it. Well worth the money!

I have a fiberworx one on my eg aswell and 99% of people dont even notice its a bung fitment is really good aswell i can send you pics if thats any help man? Not had any issues with mine either

Yeah I'm not bothered about looks to much more function as I plan to keep the car for a long time :) mine will get welded up properly or a non sunroof roof will get put on when it gets resprayed!

Spot on! Thats all I needed to know. Cheers guys. Will have to order one up from Fiberworks once I get the ball rolling on the car.

If you have any other pictures of it Rossco that would be great. Also if Steve M and Logan fancy sticking some of their picks on here aswell would make a good reference post for anyone in the future looking for similar info. Without having to ask again or scan through everyones build threads lol.

Here's a couple of pics of mine mate

Pics of mine. Obv you could be neater with the tigerseal, I didn't really care I just powered it on as I didn't want any leaks  (mine came unpainted, I gave it a few coats of matt black)

This was cheap too about £40-45 if I remember right.

I had the fiberworx one in my crx as well and as Steve said it's still fine

Can't get pics of it as it's on my old photobucket and I have no idea of the login details haha

Thats great guys thanks for the help, hope you's didn't mind the extra work to get pics up, I just hate having threads that tail off with links or directions to other places. Makes searching for things easier in the future.
