Thought I'd share a few pics of my EK4
I bought it from a friend last March for £2900 in pretty much mint condition with 56k miles on the clock. The only mods it had were a EK9 Momo steering wheel and a Spoon B-pipe with Spoon Street muffler
Heres a pic of when I first got it:
One of the first things I did was add a replica EK9 front grill. I also angled the rear spoiler very slightly:
Next I bought some EK9 shocks with RS*R springs:
I found some of these Evo Recaros on ebay and thought the colour might match the car so I took a gamble and bought them. Luckily the colour is a really good match to the bodywork so looks fitting and almost oem. I also bought some seat subframes off Joe Thompson on here to fit them. Really rate Joe's subframes, quality is excellent!
The next step was to fit some aftermarket wheels. I went for a used set of these Buddyclubs as I was debating between gunmetal or white wheels and these happened to come up on pistonheads not too far from me and at a reasonable price so I took them:
I got bored the other day so decided to install a custom air feed and a genuine EK9 front grill. I also fitted a Spoon rear strut brace I bought off rd55 dun and decided to strip the rear while I was at it just to see what it was like:
Thats pretty much where I'm up to at the moment, heres a complete list of what I've done so far:
Exterior:
Genuine EK9 front grill
Buddyclub SF wheels
Interior:
Evo VIII Recaros
Joe Thompson low seat subframes
EK9 Momo steering wheel
Spoon gear knob
Tegiwa gear shift extender
Engine/Exhaust/Intake:
Spoon Street muffler
Spoon B-pipe
Replica Spoon intake elbow
HKS panel filter
Custom cold air feed
Spoon thermostat
Mugen radiator cap
Transmission:
Buddyclub short shift kit
Energy shift linkage bushes
Suspension/Chassis:
EK9 shocks
RS*R springs
Spoon rear strut brace
Brakes:
EBC Yellowstuff pads
Gulf Motorsport brake fluid
Parts waiting to be fitted:
Energy master bush kit
OEM rear trailing arm bushes
Buddyclub extended ball joints
JDM size plates
