This is the official SRR details thread - date, names, times etc.

Saturday March 13th, time now confirmed 10AM.

Surrey Rolling Road

Cost £35 (inc vat) - as many runs as they see fit for an accurate printout - it will be pay on the day to Charlie of SRR.

Max 24 cars.

The number does not reflect when you will run as last time people arrived at different times and it was not possible, if you really need to be on the rollers early - let me know, but hopefully everybody will be casual about it.

Feel free to post if you want to be added or removed but DO NOT post your life story on why or how you can or cant make it.

List will follow!

Yo, haitch - I'm on stand down then so I will be able to make it! Hmm, Will be in my Ek9 B16B which is actually 2l

Not a bad price at all, same as we charge over here to use our DD on rolling road days. Usually it takes 3-4 runs to get a nice set of data.
In for results & pictures.

Do i get any discount for running twice so i can do the Spoon v's Stock test?

B16b bottom end, 2l gained by darton mid sleeves, carillo rods, AEM Ecu, ITB's - to be decieded, estimated 280hp :nice:

All work should be completed some time in Feb if all goes to plan. :nice:

Thanks for moving me up! :D

Im looking very forward to this Ian, As i was tempted to try spoon ECU again but obviously this time on B18.

Ian! Hopefully Charlie will just charge you once, I will check with him, looking forward to it clearing up the Spoon V oem debate!

Wazer - ITB's really are something special on the RR, I hope it will be ready!

I'm sure I'll be able to, unless somthing bad happens ... Touch wood!

I'm coming just for that!

I love it absolutely love it. Even if it makes less power it drives so much nicer i'd still keep it. And for the fact that i fitted it and it appears to have stopped my engine burning oil and its not covering the car in black spots anymore. Crazy! My car has a mind of its own... :angry2:

That'll be wicked. I can leave my cover off and just plug it into the stock lying on the carpet. Wouldn't take 5mins.

See i loved it too on the B16B, but on that engine i felt it was too smooth and the car wasnt fast enough for smooth power. B18 is another matter. I may ask you kindly if you would take me out for a quick blast with it on as you also have B18 right?

Damn, if the date is solid, 1 day before South Mimms then Im afraid I am out, I cant afford to drive down south twice in one weekend.

Unfortunate mate, there are 3 other RR days around at the moment..

Eurospec/Artech 30th January.
AtSpeed (atr.org) in Rayleigh, Essex 6th February.
Hayesdynotech 21st February.

Trouble with any event is its easier to pick a date and roll with it, rather than offering up 3 or 4 dates for people to argue over 30 pages.

I may appear at one of the 'others' also.

Just emailed Charlie to clarify the details.

Any more takers for this event?
