Anyone ever heard or used these? Have been offered a set for 600euro, only covered a few thousand miles is that a good price?

i have them in mine think they are very good the car sits perfect and very few cars can beat me on bends ill have 2 put up a few new pics for you guys starting 2 look well

my mates got them on his 9 and seem to be very good . im using the ohlins coilovers .

Would you be able to get Tanabe stuff rebuilt easily?

It's something that e.g. TEIN have in their favour as they've got a UK operation you don't need to send them back to Japan if they start leaking etc (I know you're in Ireland but that's got to be more convenient ;)).

Cheers,
Alex

Yeah thats true mate. How much do they charge to fix them if there leaking oil? as I can pick up a set that are leaking

the ones on my friends integra do have damping adjustability, i believe they offer a few models...

I will have to try find more info on the model they are

The tanabe stuff is very good it's also has a warranty if you get them from a uk dealer and say one of the dampers developes a leak etc they will sort you a new one ,i my self use the tanabe pro ss coilovers on my ek9 and find them very good ,tanabe suspension is made by KYB a well known suspension manufacter, KYB also make cusco's coilovers as well

Can you make your suspension softer than standard suspension with the damper adjustment on the coilovers as I find my standard EK9 suspension abit hard especially with the roads we have here

Yes mate they go from 1-8 and on setting 1-2 there softer than standard ek9 suspension but from 3-8 there stiffer :nice:

Lads what are the Tein Type HA like? The guy said the Spring rate is Front:12K Rear:10K.
16 way damper adjustable. How much would these be worth second hand but in good condition?

Im running Tanabe Pro5 on the DC5 and its very very good for street use, haven't had chance to get it on track yet..

Tanabe is an ever-developing company.. The TEAS system rivals the EDFC of Tein and I must say it has more potential for fine circuit tuning than the EDFC does..

Tanabe :nice: from us..:)
