more sound advice from yourself! there are plenty of systems that sound good. doesn't really tell you what the performance figures of it are though?

Really thought there was going to be more reviews/dyno testing from people who bought..

Yeah weve sold around 70 now so assumed there would be more dyno's
There are a few reviews over on ITR-dc2.com

id get 5zigen,great quality,good gains and cheap enough. i got 172bhp with **** exhaust,de-cat and 5zigen mani

I'm about 130 miles form my closest dyno, can't really afford it at the minute either.:(

I've got my tegiwa manifold and have a Hondata Manifold gasket on the way.

I'm booked in for monday 24th in just over a week so I'll get base dyno figures with stock ecu as the car stands now and then manifold and S300 ecu fitment and tune.

I had a 5zigen on my last ek9 and it was quality. This manifold is serious quality too. Looking forward to getting it fit. Hope I haven't wasted my money. :nono:

^^^^ this should be good! finally a definitive answer for everyone to go on! have to admit it looks good! Still think those brackets at the flange are pointless though as the weld is minimal compared to the original version.

I've never seen an original Toda manifold. So you think this one could be prone to cracking more easily as the welds are not as big? I hope not as above everything else I want reliability.

Its not prone to cracking
Not one crack yet, and the tab welds are better than no welds.which is the case with every other header

True, thanks for putting my mind at ease. It's easy to read a comment like the above and then start thinking the worst.....you know what it's like.

Hopfully this manifold will be proved to be as good as the Toda.

Is the Tegiwa a race header, does it by-pass the cat straight to the b-pipe? (sorry i dont have an ek9 yet, gathering info) hehe

Hi

No its not, it replaces the orignal header so you can if you wish keep the cat. Or you can run a de-cat

Thanks
Johnny

Pretty much the same as this, i had to check if the vtec was working!
Really subtle at low revs with my Mugen twinloop, and the OEM 96 spec manifold has a very noticable vtec crossover, can hardly notice it on the tegiwa one, but i'll get over it if the gains are that good...

How did you find the fitment?

Fitment wasn't as it should've been, 1 of the bolt-holes was to tight (I think it was the 2nd or 3th from bottom-left) so I needed to drill it a bit bigger.
I had informed my local dealer about this and he told me it were just a few other headers which had the same problem.

Anyway, I still enjoy the header, have it mounted for a while now and it's still the eye-catcher under the bonnet, no leaks or what so ever.. great header!

I should've put the EK4 on the dyno by now but sadly I couldn't go when it was organized so test results still have to wait :(
