Just questioning these as they are something like 22 kg front and 14 kg rear, would this just be ridiculous on a daily car? Would it be worth it once I got to the track though? Lol

would be to harsh for a daily id think,i have meister r 12 front and 10 rear and there hard enough lol

I have the Tein circuit master N1's, short stroke ones

22k front and 20k rear rates

bit harsh on the roads to say the least

i use 20kg fr/ 18kg rear and i'm ok with that... not very confy but it's ok

Those rates are for this:

Where do you spend more time?

Michael if your heart is set on the coilovers, you could always swap the springs over to something that offers a compromise between the road and track.

Yeah but then you will need to get the coilovers revalved to suit different spring rates, you can only usually go +/- 2K without revalving

Cost will be at least 700 quid from Tein, I was £750 to have my N1's overhauled and serviced, did not include custom valving either

Myself are running Tein Super Racing front 26kg rear 18kg on my daily driven ek hatch, feels actually better then my old Tein HA setup. Stiff and firm but not harsh at all as the rebound and all can be adjusted. Just go for it :)

OK, but all for all we know, you live in some undisclosed European country where the roads are all fastidiously maintained and glass smooth. If the biggest bump you'll encounter is a cats eye, then your interpretation of ride quality is going to differ vastly from someone who lives say, in central London, plagued by speed bumps, or maybe on the Isle of Wight where the roads simply get left to crumble and fall into the sea.

Without that point of reference, an opinion on ride quality is of little use.

I have to love your answer Kozy... always give me a chuckle.
But yea... pretty much spot on...

Graphical Aid is always good also. :)
