The s2000

Mk1 template made and tweaks taken back and amended on cad drawing (mainly fixing points refined)

splitter Mk2 cut and fitted. Simply a case of undoing original bolts that hold bumper to undertray, slipping some washers over them (work without also but just to spread the load) Also put a couple in the middle section where there was no support previously, again using OEM holes so everything can be reverted to standard if needs be. This is what annoyed me with other companies products, having to remove the bumper and drill your own fixing points!

Tried and tested around the evo triangle yesterday. no issues whatsoever at any kind of speed :tipwink:

Will be testing this on a couple of other cars before offering to general public, Also interested in getting a prefacelift version made in the coming weeks

MK3 version will be gloss black one side and matt black on the other so will be able to be flipped for personal preference. Still working on a set of side skirts.

For anyone who is interested they're made from an aluminium composite panel :tipwink:

thanks fella

DIY lip stood up to excessive speeds, just want to try it on a couple of other cars to ensure mounting points are all good before making a few more and offering them for sale

having my wheel retrimmed, existing one is looking a little worn and lets the interior down. Having it redone with perforated sides like the one below.

Splitter looks awesome man, nice work! Where are you getting your steering wheel re-trimmed?

new wheel collected.

old one was shiny and had a few scratches where someone had been wearing a ring. stripped it down.

Did you do the wheel yourself or get someone to do it? Looks great

Took a trip to Jack Smiths at the weekend. Left Liverpool at 3.30 in the morning, pootled down and came across some mega roads (some may recognise from topgear!)

Top itself is good, few little bits i've tidied up, spot of glue i've picked off and threads that needed trimming but for £280 i really cannot complain. Ray's a nice chap, says it how it is! don't use him if you're easily offended! his workshop is down some shady alley way in swansea.

so roof before. Wasn't the worst of conditions but never liked the blue anyway!

The only thing i can see (critical eye) people may not like is the finished edge being silver. This is barely visible looking down on the car it's only really when you're on eye level with them.

I have thought about this, and this product
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121160078711?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

will sleeve over the edge to hide this.

Fell off the track on the chicane on the sighting laps... bit too much drifting but never hit anything. About 8 cars throughout the day crashed so that gives you an idea how wet it was! roof stayed down all day regardless

Need to sort my bushes and bolts next before i get back on track, a job for next month i think.

not sure why some of the older pictures have dropped out....

anyway

Long awaited geometry day. Trip to Daytona, there for 9, finished by 3 with butty breaks and general hoo harring. Big thanks to Ray at Daytona (keith lemon looking chap for anyone who hasnt had the plewasure) the bush expert (oooerr)
