Is it advisable to do tensioner and water pump @ the same time?

My car is going to be taking a power leap within the next few months, hence why I though id need an aftermarket belt!! :D

adviseable to do water pump and tensioner mate..

give haribo a pm he has got an aftermarket belt on his but cant mind if it was toda or skunk 2 belt . im sure he will tell ya

why do you need an aftermarket branded belt. Honda belts are top quality.! I use stock myself :nice: i think Blinx uses stock on his turbo Civic too. (?)

the b16b belt is longer than the b16a one...if u put a b16a belt onto b16b the belt would be too tight wen u tighten the tensioner an it'd stretch an the an the same wit B belt onto A it'd be too loose

this is true, i am indeed using a stock belt and making 333whp (380bhp), however i do have stock b16b head including cams, if you going for more aggressive cams its not a bad idea to upgrade to a Gates, Toda or Greddy timing belt as i have seen aggressive cams break timing belts!!! I don't know if the timing belt was old or what, but I would not want to chance it... It's funny but i feel more comfortable with Stock belt on turbo car than i do with na car lol...

Are you guys sure the b16a timing belt does not fit?

At Nengun, they are selling the b16a timing belt for a b16b engine too...

Toda - High Power Timing Belt - Nengun Performance
yes we are sure, it will not fit, i've tried it personally, you MUST use a B18c belt.
