Was out Last week in my EK9 on track Running parada spec 2 at 32 PSI
Found after 5 to 6 Laps they Started Over Heating.

What is the Best PSI for Road Tyre's on Track? :)

A road tyre will always overheat quicker, try going out at a lower psi, experiment with it, maybe 24 for starters, then next time try 26 & so on. Different tyres, setup, weather etc, so many variables, everybody is different.

I usually run about 30...and have had reasonable success with it. This is about what the guys at the track recommend to me. Usually I ask other Civic racers, or mechanics who work at tuning shops and do a lot of track days.....I guess there are many opinions and situations, though....

during track days i usually run or keep it on 30psi - 32psi depends on the weather. im on a tropical country so track temp is really hot. i check my tire pressure every end run.

this you must do. one must remember when the tire gets hotter, so does the air inside it, which expands, causing the psi to increase. ideally you want your pressure slightly lower when the tire is cold than what you want it when its warm, so that once the tires warms up fully, the psi you want is acheived. otherwise you may suffer with over-inflation etc.

At Donington I was running 20 paid cold on the fronts and 23 on the rears, after 6 laps it so they'd increased to 30 and 28 , perfect!

For road tyres I'd say to try and get them to standard pressures (f35 r33) when hot. Start off trying something like fronts 24psi and rears 28 cold, before going and then check them straight away after coming back in to drop out the excess pressure out of each tyre if you need to.
Do that after your first two or three sessions as the heat/pressure build up is cumulative thing and as you get more used to the track you may start to use the tyres harder as you increase your corner speeds etc.

Or you could just get the tyres filled with nitrogen and not worry about it.
